The Shemah from Deuteronomy 6 is such an extensive subject that my understanding of it needs to grow. Therefore, it is not adequately handled in this post. However, what we do in this session is read through Deuteronomy 6-8 and seek to understand how YHWH values His words and hopes that others would equally value them. In turn, we see the formula for not valuing His words, and the consequences therein. This is inextricably tied to Jesus life and words in the Gospels as we continue to behold the gospels as a nearly synonymous narrative to the Torah.
